These are actual questions from actual customers...

Q:  How bright is the MP-1?
A:  The light is about as bright as a 60 watt light bulb...Each of the MP-1's (3) ten mm LEDs focus individual
beams of light forward @ between 15 - 20 degrees from center.  This pattern produces a beam of light
with a fair amount of peripheral light around its circumference allowing a diver to see objects at all sides.

Q:  How heavy is the MP-1 on your hand?
A:  The light weighs 6.2 ounces (181.44 grams) and any weight disappears in the water.

Q:  What kind of Warranty are you giving on this thing?
A:  We are giving a one (1) year limited warranty on the light itself, if the battery will not charge or
if an LED burns out, send it back and we will replace the unit.  There must only be signs of normal
wear & tear. There are no serviceable parts in the unit, attempts to open will void the warranty.
We are giving a 6 month warranty on the rest of the items...(Charger, Transformer, Glove Sled, Plug)

Q:  What is the functional temperature range the MP-1 light?
A:  You can use the light from 0 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit  (-18 to 49 Celsius)
The battery manufacturer recommends that you allow the battery to reach ambient temperature
(typically 72 deg. F) before charging the battery.

Q:  How long does the light last before having to recharge it?
A:  The burn time is approximately 6 1/2 hours of constant light.  For repetitive dives, you will get
   up to
six (6) one (1) hour dives since the battery will have time to regenerate around 20% of its
existing power during your (SIT) time.

Q:  What kind of battery is in the MP-1 and how do you change it?
A:  The light is powered by a Li-Ion battery and has virtually zero memory for charging...
The battery is sealed (Forever) in the MP-1 light and is NOT replaceable!!  This is one reason why
the MP-1 can not flood.  Any attempt to replace the battery or open the light or the charger will void
   all warranties.

Q:  How many time can I charge the MP-1 before it can not be charged any more?
A:  The Li-Ion battery may be charged approximately 850 times depending upon some factors like:
duration of exposure to extreme environments, temperature during charging, and other conditions.
We ask that you read the user manual before using this product.

Q:  How long will the LEDs last and can you change out a bulb if one burns out?
A:  Our LEDs are the highest quality that we could find as is everything that goes into the light...
The manufacturer of the LEDs says they are good for 100,000 running hours, we live in reality
so we estimate the LEDs will last between 20,000 & 80,000 hours. (see 1 year limited warranty)
We also engineered the electronics such that if one or two lights go out, the others still work.
   To put this into perspective:
20,000 hours  =  One - 1 hour dive per day for 54 3/4 years... Or
Three - 1 hour dives per day for 18 1/4 years, any more questions?

Q:  Is the MP-1 light positively or negatively buoyant?
A:  The light itself is negative so it will sink if you purposely take it off the sled and drop it in the Ocean.
We further recommend that you leave the light attached to the glove until you place it in the charger.

Q:  Do you have any other ways to attach the light (i,e,..wrist straps, head band, shoulder mounts)?
A:  No, but if we find another place we like as much as the back of the glove, we'll design one...

Q:  Can I attach the (Glove Sled thing) to another glove or my hood?
A:  Well, I'm not your Mom...You can attach the (Sled) to whatever you want but our lawyer told us to

let everyone know that we WILL NOT BE HELD accountable if you ruin your gloves, hood, wet-suit, or

anyone else attempting to modify the original design and/or intended function of said original design.

Q:  Is there a single charger instead of the specially designed Quick Charger?
A:  No, once you dive the light you will want another for yourself or your buddy so two is best.

Q:  What depth is the MP-1 rated for?
A:  We had Hal Watts (Mr. Scuba) dive the light to 240 feet at his 40 Fathom Grotto, Ocala, FL,
upon surfacing he exclaimed "This thing is Awesome!!" and promptly bought one... We also had
the MP-1 pressure tested to the equivalent of 320 feet in a pressure vessel.  It was also the limit of
pressure the vessel was rated for, no problem, the MP-1 ignored the pressure.

Q: Can I use the MP-1 on the surface as well as under water?
A:  Yes, you do not have to heat sink the LEDs in the MP-1.  That is why this light can be used at
work, home, hiking, fishing, or camping in the woods.  (See "Other Uses" on this site)

Q:  Does the Universal Glove TM, fit right and left hands?
A:  Yes, it is an ambidextrous glove. We thought that since we invented the coolest waterproof light
we may as well invent a equally cool glove to hold it.

Q:  How many levels of "brightness" are there?
A:  The light has two settings, (ON) or (OFF) if you don't count (Charging) as a setting.

Q:  If the "brass pins" are used for charging, why don't they discharge in salt water?
A:  It's a secret...but if it does, you will see little bubbles coming from one or both pins.  We suggest
discontinue use of the light, send it back, and we'll send a new one to you.

Q:  What if something is wrong with one of the parts or it doesn't work when I get it.
A:  Make sure that the charger is plugged in to a working receptacle, the LED on the (transformer)
plug will be ON.  Turn the MP-
1 switch to the OFF position (to the left) and place the light MP-1
on the charger such that it fits into the indented shape of the charger.  The light on the transformer
plug should turn RED, meaning the light is charging.  Wait until the LED on the transformer plug
turns green.  Push the switch on the MP-1 to the right and the light should go ON.

CAUTION:  Do not look directly into the lights to see if they are ON  -  they are BRIGHT.
